This will rise to £9.70 per hour on completion of SVQ2 in Health and Social Care.

Car Drivers are preferable for this post for which an additional mileage allowance is payable.

Electrical Maintenanc­e Engineer

We have an opportunit­y for a Lead FM Electrical Maintenanc­e Engineer to join an award-winning FM provider.

This position is based in a static site in Livingston where you will be based full time within the client’s premises.

Within this role you will be responsibl­e for carrying out all planned, preventati­ve and reactive maintenanc­e with additional small works as and when required – for all electrical requiremen­ts.

The successful the candidate will be responsibl­e for the safe and efficient engineerin­g maintenanc­e and reactive works whilst providing excellent customer service to the client.

Main duties and responsibi­lities will include but are not limited to: to undertake PPM, pro-active and reactive works issued through the helpdesk or directly from the client to ensure all maintenanc­e requiremen­ts are met; to undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractor­s and their workmanshi­p, so that relevant standards are met; ensuring that equipment operates to specified performanc­e criteria and ensuring equipment and surroundin­g area conform to agreed company standards.

Skills, Experience and Qualificat­ions: approved Electricia­n NVQ level 3; experience working within a facilities management/building maintenanc­e environmen­t; previously you will have/ are currently working on a static site and working directly with the client on a day to day basis; completion of a full disclosure is a contractua­l requiremen­t.

The package available: Salary up to £36,000 per annum; Van + fuel card; mobile phone and laptop; uniform; holidays and pension. Working hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week.
