West Lothian Council is currently planning the reopening of Community Centres to various groups. As part of this welcomed re- introducti­on, the Community Playgroup activities within Crofthead Farm Centre have been identified as a priority during this phase and will reopen this Monday September 7. Risk assessment­s and control measures have been developed to enable the safe start up of the Playgroup. Other groups at the Farm will be able to return as we progress through the Government’s route map.

WEST LOTHIAN SELF HELP GROUP

Normally meet at Crofthead Farm on the first Wednesday of each month from 7- 9pm. The group is for adults living with depression, anxiety, stress and low mood. It assists participan­ts explore ways to manage and develop a support network based on mutual respect. The benefits of being active and getting outside has been highlighte­d as part of a new drive to help people in Scotland look after their mental health. The Clear Your Head campaign from the Scottish Government is encouragin­g people to keep up any active habits they may have started during the pandemic.
