Use our tracing app to stay safe
Free to use tech for Chamber members
It has been business as usual for the team here at the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce and our colleagues from Developing Young Workforce Regional Group.
The shift to working remotely and connecting digitally is starting to feel a bit more normal but we are looking forward to when we can also include in our programme face-to-face events as well as the virtual meetings.
The chamber will continue to offer free Webinars and Zoom meetings to share good businesses practices, expert updates on key issues, networking opportunities and the chance to have a chat with others.
The chamber team have been gathering feedback from our members, which has been mainly positive with many looking at their recovery plans and the integration of more flexible working which has been identified during the pandemic as the way forward for most businesses. Of course, we acknowledge that this does not work for all businesses and we welcome future news of offices being allowed to re-open.
The chamber are just about to launch a new Trace and Protect app available to all West Lothian businesses who need to collect details from visitors to their premises.
The app has been developed by a chamber member and is already in use at several of Scotland’s Chambers of Commerce with more signing up.
The aim is to offer support to local businesses and give visitors and customers the confidence that their essential data is collected easily and very importantly securely.
The Trace and Protect app will be free to West Lothian Chamber members and at a small to cost to other businesses. For more information contact protect@ wlchamber.com
In partnership with the Scottish Chambers network we are working on virtual trade missions, there are over 40 planned over the next few months, to offer opportunities to identify new markets and business connections.
West Lothian Chamber are looking at California and Mongolia as part of international links, anyone interested please contact us on chamber@ wlchamber.com
As we move into recovery the Chamber continues to work closely with the Scottish Chambers network and our partners to support and engage with our local business communities.
