SANTA

Great news for the children of Mid Calder as it looks like Santa will be visiting the village on his sleigh the week before Christmas as usual. Please keep an eye on the Community Council Facebook page for updates.

The Gala Committee are asking that children help decorate the fence around the village Christmas tree by hanging up a decoration and leaving a letter for Santa in the post box on the fence.

has been set up for East Calder, Mid Calder, Kirknewton and surrounding areas. This Buggy Club is a localised group under the wider ‘Scottish Buggy Club’. The founder has set up guidelines in conjunction with Early Years Scotland to ensure the group conforms to Covid guidelines as set out by the Scottish Government.

The Buggy Club is a safe and inclusive environment for mums, dads and care givers to meet and walk with others. You don’t need to have a baby in a buggy to join ... toddlers, children and babies in slings are all welcome too! Walks will start and end at the Calderwood Cafe, we will be heading in to Almondell Country Park and there will be an opportunity for toddlers and children to stop at the play park for some fun.
