The 2004 United team are looking to add to the current squad for all outfield positions. Training from this week will be Monday and Wednesday night- both sessions on our new 3G pitch. At Broxburn United Sports Club we have been working hard behind the scenes to get our sessions back up and running. Looking to keep the kids active as you get some last minute shopping done, looking for a way to burn off that extra energy they have. Skills Centre Christmas Football Camp is the answer with an action packed camp full of skills and tricks guaranteed to keep the kids entertaine­d during the festive holidays. A Christmas Football Camp takes place Monday December 21 – Thursday December 24 10am -2pm £35 full week £ 10 half day. CARERS OF WEST LOTHIAN

Run two monthly social groups for disabled adults living in West Lothian. The evening group runs on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6-7pm and the morning group, on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 10.30-11.30am. They are using zoom to run these groups while there’s social-distancing restrictio­ns in place. Normally, the evening group meet in Bathgate and the morning group, in Livingston. AZAMI KARATE GROUP

Has taught karate in Broxburn since 1990. Whilst the sport centre is closed, we are providing free online classes to beginners and existing members from the local community. As it may be a few months before sport centres and schools re-open why not join our karate classes

BROXBURN LIBRARY

An appointmen­t based, click and collect/ phone and collect system is now in place at Broxburn (Strathbroc­k). Library customers will now be able to book an appointmen­t. The service will operate appointmen­ts over two sessions per day from 10:00am – 12.30pm and 1:00pm – 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. Customers who have digital access are encouraged to register and use the online catalogue or the Bookmyne app where they can search, select and reserve up to five books from the library they wish to collect their books from.

Customers can then book a slot to collect their books using the MYPC booking system. Please ensure a minimum of 48 hours after you have placed your request to allow time for your request to be processed. If you wish to return books, this can also be done at this time. A step by step guide on the process of reserving your book online is available via the Libraries section on the West Lothian Council website - https:// www.westlothia­n.gov.uk/libraries.
