CRAIGSFARM CAFE

Craigsfarm Community Hub and the cafe have reopened. The cafes usual hours are 9- 3pm Mondays to Fridays. There are a few changes to comply with the Governments covid guidelines.

Apart from if you are wanting to takeaway food, no queuing is allowed and we will be providing a table service only. This is both indoors and weather permitting, outdoors. The rules are that you now need to sit 1 metre apart from anyone else unless you are in the same household as them so we will be setting out our café tables to meet that requirement. We also have to take each individual’s Test and Protect details rather than just one person from each party. Masks and face coverings still have to be worn to enter and move around the building.

These are all mandatory requirements so please bear with us as we get to grips with re-opening and complying to the new rules.

TRANSFORM CRAIGSHILL COMMUNITY ACTION GROUP

The Group is working with a range of partners to provide digital devices, data and support to those who currently cannot access the internet. Too many people in our local area are digitally excluded and we want to help our communities get connected. If you are aware of any families who are not online as they don’t have a digital device or internet access, please get in touch - we may be able to help. Email info@transformcraigshill.co.uk.

CRAIGSFARM

Thank you to all our Traders, visitors and staff who made last Saturday’s Traders Fair such a success. Close to 200 of you visited us and enjoyed the event. Yes we could have done things a bit better and our cafe’s success confirmed we needed more staff on duty but that is such a guessing game as it could’ve been quieter. This was the second one we’ve run and we are already planning a third sometime in the Summer. If you know

anyone who might want to have a table, please get them to email Leigh (leigh@ craigsfarm.org.uk). She will confirm the criteria and hopefully by the Summer restrictions will be lifted further so we will have more tables on offer.

Thank you to Leigh, Christine, Sam, Caroline, Greg, Luke and Cameron for working so hard to make the event such a success. Also to Gordon and our friends from the Co-Op for helping us out as volunteers.

Our café is now open Monday to Friday from
