OPEN DISCUSSION NIGHT
Jenny from Livingston Cricket Club is in the early stages of setting up an indoor table cricket group for disabled children and young adults with learning disabilities and is looking to get a feel for who would be interested in joining the group and why.
An Open Discussion Night will be held in the Cricket Club on Friday October 29th from 7pm for Mums and Dads with disabled and learning difficulty children to come and put their ideas forward, have a free cup of tea/coffee and some cake or purchase a drink at the bar. Meet the team and let’s see if we can make a difference. Open to members and non members. Please contact Jenny on the details below if you would like to attend.
The hope is to introduce indoor table cricket for all levels and abilities, for disabled children and young adults up to the age of 25. She is hoping to get the local schools from around Livingston to also join up and take part eventually. Cricket Scotland for disability is helping to set up the group and is making contact with local schools. The Rotary Club is supporting with some funding and the project has 100% backing from Livingston Cricket Club. For further details and information or to enquire about supporting or taking part please, contact Jenny Anderson on 07909645084 or email jenny.anderson@ talktalk.net
