WEST KIRK OF CALDER & POLBETH HARWOOD CHURCH

Sunday morning worship 9:45am in The West Kirk and 11:15am Polbeth Harwood Church. Weekly Sunday/JAM clubs welcome all children and the Bible class meet the first Sunday in the month at the West Kirk. All children’s groups meet first in the church at the same time as the Sunday service. Everyone must wear a face mask in the Church and hand sanitise units are available as you enter

For babies, toddlers and their carers. A friendly group meet in the West Kirk church hall on Wednesday mornings from 9:30- 11am. £1 for adults includes a cuppa & biscuit and 50p for snack for toddler age kids. All welcome.

CONGRATULA­TIONS

to Easter Breich Wood Community Group who have succeeded in their bid to gain funding from the Scottish Land Fund to purchase the Easter Breich Woodland for the community. They also have become a registered charity (SC051201). This marks a great milestone in the Steering Group’s work. Currently the group are working through the necessary administra­tion to complete the transition of ownership. The Steering Group are keen to hear from members of the local community

who may be interested in joining the Board in the future - especially those with skills in the areas of accountanc­y, land & woodland management, events organisati­on & fundraisin­g. DEMENTIA GROUP

Music 4 u is a fun filled time of musical activities especially designed for people with dementia. It’s held on the third Wednesday of each month at Carmondean community complex, Fells Rigg, Livingston. Anyone with dementia is welcome, but we would ask that they were accompanie­d by a carer. It’s from 2 p.m. To 3.30 p.m. And begins with an afternoon tea followed by all types of musical activity. Volunteers are all skilled in dementia and music. The December meeting will be 8th December, one week earlier than normal. Contact Nancy on 419904 for further informatio­n.
