TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION AND CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

This year’s Torchlight Procession and Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Saturday 4th December.

There will be a Carol Service in the Kirk of Calder at 6pm. Unfortunately, due to Covid Restrictions, the Mid Calder School Children’s Choir, will not be able to attend but parents are encouraged to take their children to the Service and then join us for the Torchlight Procession at 6.30pm when Santa in his Sleigh, will lead the procession onto the Christmas Tree.

The Christmas Tree lights will be switched on around 7pm and we can all sing a few Carols with Santa. Real Flame Torches will be available on the night at a cost of £1 and Children’s glow sticks will be available for a small donation. The Mid Calder Children’s Gala Committee hope you will be able to join them on the night.
