Two hurt in crash in Horsham town centre

Two people were injured in a crash between a car and a pedestrian in Queen Street, Horsham, on Tuesday.

Sussex Police said emergency services were called to the scene at 1pm on June 30, following a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

A spokesman added: “A man driving the car and a female pedestrian were reported to have suffered injuries requiring medical treatment, but both were conscious and breathing at the scene.

“The road was closed while the incident was dealt with, but re-opened shortly before 3.30pm. There are no further details at this time.”

South East Coast Ambulance Service said its crew attended and both the driver and pedestrian were taken to hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 653 of 30/06, the police spokesman added.
