New boss for leading fuel cell company Ceres Power

A Horsham-based company that is a global leader in fuel cell technology has appointed a new boss.

Warren Finegold is to take over as chairman of Ceres Power, based in Foundry Lane, from previous chairman Alan Aubrey, who is standing down.

Mr Aubrey, who has been chairman since December 2012 will remain a nonexecutive director and will retire from the board in September.

Robert Trezona, a nonexecutive director who has served on the board since 2012, is to also step down from his role.

New chairman Warren Finegold joined the board of Ceres in March as an independent non-executive director. He has spent more than 20 years in investment banking and 10 years on the Vodafone Group Executive Committee.

He said: “Ceres is an excellent business, with a unique technology and a highly committed team of people.”
