Flax Farm is celebrating the launch of their new range by offering our readers a discount.

A Billingshurst business is starting the new year with the launch of a new product.

Flax Farm, who freshly mill and cold press linseed oil several times a week from their premises in Billingshurst, are launching new Bake at Home Flaxjacks Traybakes.

The range can be baked at home from the freezer in under 30 minutes - and readers of the West Sussex County Times can snap some up with a 20 percent discount.

The new tray bakes have more than 20 combinations to choose from, and both the ready to eat and traybake options include golden vanilla through to triple ginger, apricot orange and pumpkinseed, mixed berries, courgette and apple, or carrot and cheese.

They are also available for those with dietary intolerances, with gluten free, dairy free and no added sugar options.

Flax Farm owner Clare Skelton said: “We love the warm tempting aromas that waft through our kitchens and offices on baking days as the Flaxjacks cook in our ovens, and we thought that families should be able to enjoy this too.

“So, we have made it easy and created our tray bakes to be simply stored in the freezer, before being popped in the oven whenever they are needed. No mess, no waste, and no need to miss out on a warm, delicious and healthy treat at any time.”

Flax Farm has also introduced a new ‘Collect Direct From Farm’ service for 2021. “We have been bowled over by the many comments we have received, telling us that customers are missing us at our usual regular farmer’s markets.

“Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions and risks, we have decided we must continue to ensure the safety of all our staff, and we will need to stay away from the markets for now,” said Clare. “So, we have decided to introduce a socially distanced ‘collect in person’ service, so as not to remove all face to face contact.”

Customers can place their order online or by phone and if they prefer, may now arrange a time to collect direct from Flax Farm.

Farm staff will wear face mask sand keep their distance at all times, but weather permitting they will be able to talk outside for a short while and answer any questions or give advice to customers in person. And, this will run in addition to the current online mail delivery service, says Claire.
