Rob Sanchez: Proved a formidable barrier and deserved his clean sheet . 7
Adam Webster: Trouble for the defender as he limped off with a hamstring problem in the first half. 6
Shane Duffy: Another solid display and all the more impressive as he came through three tough games for Ireland in the international break. 7
Lewis Dunk: Rarely puts a foot wrong these days, and coped well with Ivan Toney, consistent. 7
Joel Veltman: A composed display in his first full 90 of the season. 7
Yves Bissouma: The best player on the pitch and just when you think he can’t get better, he does. 8
Adam Lallana: Not at his creative best but still a vital part of the Albion victory. 6
Marc Cucurella: A very encouraging debut from the Spain international, a couple of losse passes but overall impressive from the £15m man. 7
Leo Trossard: Always looked Albion’s most creative player and kept going to the end and got his reward with an excellent goal in the 90 minute. 8
Danny Welbeck: His first start of the season and will be all the better for 90 minutes, looked a bit rusty and missed a good chance in the first half but will improve the fitter he gets. 6
Neal Maupay: A hard working display against his old club, had very few chances but always carried a threat – defenders can never relax when he’s on the pitch. 6
Jakub Moder: on for Webster and looked impressive, what a signing he will be for Brighton. 7
Alexis Mac Allister: Always positive in possession and played a big part in the goal. 7
Solly March: On late for Cucurella and helped Albion to victory. 6
