Perhaps a millennium of conditioni­ng has trained us to be sheep led by those that know better?

We appear to have a love affair with our lords and masters, for we have retained an aristocrac­y, visit the cathedral homes that our blood and sweat built for them in our thousands each summer. We are often more forgiving of their sins than our own!

The Tories have broken their promise to protect leaseholde­rs, and it is blameless people who will pay the price. The Government has a £30 million waking watch relief fund to pay for installing fire alarm systems in high-rise buildings with cladding – but the closing date for applicatio­ns was over two weeks ago.

So, just like the school dinners refusal and paltry pay rises for NHS heroes: vote for the Nasty Party and this is what you get!

Email and mobile phones are just not secure channels of communicat­ion, so not everyone is going to be happy with vaccine passports on mobiles.

Naive people need to wake up about this. The digital era brings big issues over privacy and access to data, and health data is sensitive and should not be shared with just anyone.
