Ambulances having to queue a disgrace
THE dreadful scenes outside of the Royal Cornwall Hospital in
Truro (Treliske) of no less than 22 ambulances queueing for up to 10 hours to discharge sick patients have now given us very clear factual evidence that our
NHS is quite unsafe in the hands of this Conservative Government led by this Prime Minister and his predecessor.
The Conservative Party have been the government of the nation now for 12 years, charged to secure the safety and health of the nation’s sick and they have consistently failed to perform what they were elected to carry out.
They have abdicated from their solemn sworn promises to care for the people of Britain. They have ignored the repeated appeals by hospital management to take action to raise staffing levels and secure much needed equipment and supplies.
They have abused our overburdened staff by taking advantage of the dedication of nurses, doctors and ancillary staff.
The Conservatives have been the cause of sick and pained patients being pushed into the hands of commercial hospitals, where often much of their hard-earned savings have been handed over for treatment that should have been done by the NHS.
I would like to have seen this Prime Minister sit with an 84-yearold patient as she waited 10 long hours in an ambulance to be admitted to hospital for treatment, and then hear the nursing staff apologise for him and his party’s appalling record on care of the sick and those who care for the sick
Please... do not give us a catalogue of excuses. We have heard them too often. Everybody else is to blame – except them.
