Tonight’s upsetting film tells the tragic story of 22-year-old Grace Millane, a British backpacker who went missing while on a Tinder date in Auckland in 2018.
A week after Grace’s disappearance Jesse Kempson was arrested and later convicted of Grace’s murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

This documentary whizzes through the Diana years in fashion, from her fairy tale ball gowns to the famous ‘revenge dress’, via 80s knits and 90s tions around women’s safety, the documentary traces the night of Grace’s disappearance, the subsequent search, Kempson’s arrest, the court case and ultimately the role that a dating app played in bringing these two individuals together.
There are exclusive interviews with investigators close to the case as well as chilling CCTV footage and the police interviews with Kempson.
We also see the texts and tweets between Grace and her killer in her final days.
