Call blocker business seeks 20 new recruits
A TELECOMS company in Swansea is recruiting for 20 new jobs.
CPR Global Tech, the Swanseabased manufacturer of call-blocking technology, is trebling its workforce thanks to the company’s success in overseas markets during the past three years.
CPR’s new full-time staff will be in sales and support roles, and will help drive ambitious growth plans across North America, where CPR is already well established.
The new recruits will also support a launch in South America for the company later this year.
CPR Global Tech is based in two premises in Swansea and its callblocking products have established themselves as one of the bestselling call-blocker brands worldwide.
They are available on Amazon and through many well-known nationwide retailers including Tesco, Argos and Maplin.
Kristian Hicks, from CPR Call Blocker, said: “This is an exciting time for the company as we push ahead with our ambitious growth plans into overseas markets.
“This can only be done with the support of a new sales team and we are excited to recruit enthusiastic and motivated people to help us achieve our business objectives.
“The problem of nuisance and scam calls is one which feels very personal, because it can have such a negative impact upon individuals in their homes.
“But we have found that it is a global issue too, as we have excelled in foreign markets, particularly in the USA.
“As well as being good news for CPR Call Blocker, our company expansion is, of course, good news for the Welsh economy and employment market, as we expect to recruit locally,” Mr Hicks added.
