S4C creates a position for content distribution
LLION IWAN has been appointed to the new S4C post of head of content distribution.
The appointment follows the recent restructuring at the channel and Llion will work closely with Amanda Rees, S4C’s new director of creative content, as they develop a new content strategy.
Llion is the current commissioner, factual content, and he will remain in the role until his successor starts in the post.

Llion, of Waunfawr, Caernarfon, will lead the S4C Creative Team and the work will mean that he will spend more time in Cardiff until the headquarters relocates to Carmarthen in 2018.
Working closely with Amanda, he will be responsible for delivering an engaging, wide-ranging and entertaining schedule across all platforms for the S4C audience, as well as programme acquisitions.
He will also be responsible for all the news and current affairs output across all platforms, chairing any discussions with the BBC and listening and responding to the views and comments of the production sector.
