Alex and Charlie in love with baby Ted
ALEX Jones and husband Charlie Thomson have finally revealed the name of their month-old baby son.
The One Show presenter shared the announcement on Instagram, which shows that the baby’s name is Edward Alun Burrell Thomson – Teddy for short.
Earlier this month the new mam took to social media to share a black-and-white snap of the tot’s tiny hand clutching her finger, declaring that she was “so in love with him”.
The 39-year-old from Ammanford gave birth just weeks after going on maternity leave from The One Show. The baby weighed in at 7lb 11oz.
She announced his birth four days after he was born by calling into The One Show.
“We’re absolutely delighted – we’re completely in love with him,” she said at the time.
Alex tied the knot with New Zealander Charlie in a romantic ceremony at Cardiff Castle on New Year’s Eve 2015.
Before announcing her pregnancy on The One Show last summer, Alex had spoken out about her fertility fears before hosting a documentary on the issue.
She said last April: “As most girls, I spent all of my teenage years, twenties, thirties, doing everything I could to avoid getting pregnant and then it’s just like Bonnie Tyler – Total Eclipse of the Heart – a day arrives and then you go, ‘Gosh, maybe we should have a baby’.”
