Unique festival for Surf Snowdonia

SURF Snowdonia is to host its first ever music festival. The world’s first artificial wave garden will be transforme­d for the Su Casa Festival and one of the most unique events Wales has ever seen on May 29.

The one-day celebratio­n will feature a main stage from the team behind Glastonbur­y, V Festival and Parklife as well as a disco teepee, poolside terraces and the chance to rent the resort’s glamping pod with VIP ones directly facing the main stage.

There will also be a Prosecco van and access to the venue’s famous Crash & Splash Lagoon. Surf Snowdonia’s very own decked sun-trap, positioned perfectly between the surfing lagoon entertainm­ent and plenty of food and drinks for those who need a break from the pumping party around the other side of the lagoon. Specialisi­ng in dance music events, Su Casa was founded in Ibiza in 2015. The all-Welsh team – two of whom are from North Wales – brought the brand back home and have since hosted many sold-out gigs across the country and even had a summer residency at the iconic Ministry of Sound.

The inaugural festival last year saw more than 500 revellers descend upon Conwy Quay. The organisers expect the numbers at Surf Snowdonia to exceed and the Crash & Splash, will play host to 2,000. the most chilled section of the festival.
