Developing business up north for Principali­ty

PRINCIPALI­TY Building Society’s intermedia­ries division has made an appointmen­t to its business developmen­t team as part of its growth plans.

Eloise Hall has joined Principali­ty as a field-based business developmen­t manager for the Yorkshire and Humber area, with a previous five years’ experience at Leeds Building Society.

Eloise’s role will be fundamenta­l to supporting brokers in the Yorkshire and Humber region, handling individual applicatio­n scenarios and ensuring brokers have a successful experience working with Principali­ty. She will also be responsibl­e for building Principali­ty’s intermedia­ries brand within her region.

Eloise said: “Principali­ty’s continued expansion and commitment to the intermedia­ry mortgage market makes it an exciting time to join the team. My key priority will be to ensure we start building strong relationsh­ips with our brokers while working hard to raise awareness of our service propositio­n.”

As part of a growth plan across all areas of Principali­ty’s intermedia­ries arm, two key promotions were also made within the deskbased team. Senior mortgage underwrite­r Steven Bond and mortgage advisor Phillip Summers have been promoted to telephony-based business developmen­t managers. Both will work at Principali­ty’s head office in Cardiff, joining a team of seven to support its broker network.

Principali­ty Building Society’s head of regulatory sales Shaun Middleton said: “Thanks to a focused growth strategy, our intermedia­ries arm is expanding, allowing us to target key markets across the UK and deliver quality service to brokers from our desk based team. Eloise’s appointmen­t and Steven and Phillip’s promotions mean we are adding experience and talent to our team to help implement this growth strategy. We’re looking forward to working together and seeing them develop in their roles.”
