Man arrested in murder inquiry
A MAN wanted by police on suspicion of the murder of a “vulnerable” pensioner has been arrested.
North Wales Police had issued an appeal to trace Jordan Davidson, 25, in connection with the death of Nicholas Anthony Churton, 67.
Mr Churton was found dead at his home in Crescent Close, Wrexham, with signficant head injuries after officers were called just before 8.30am on Monday.
Yesterday, the force tweeted: “Jordan Davidson has been arrested overnight. He is currently in custody. Thank you to the public for the support in locating him.”
A 35-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Old Colwyn, and a 27-year-old man from Wrexham had earlier been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police said Mr Churton lived alone at the property and was partially disabled.
