Woman dies after bridge accident

A WOMAN has died after an accident in Newport.

Pamela Lancaster, 47, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being in collision with a Ford Focus on the bridge at Clarence Place last Friday at around 1.30pm.

A family member said: “She will be sadly missed by all her family, now at peace. We would like to thank the emergency services and all the staff at Cardiff University Hospital critical care unit for all their help and kindness.”
