Agency brings a creative approach to council

-

CREATIVE agency Waters has won a three-year framework contract with Bridgend County Borough Council to support some of the local authority’s community initiatives and raise awareness of such schemes.

The Swansea-based integrated marketing agency previously worked with Bridgend Council on various long-term projects.

Following this successful collaboration with the council, the innovation agency will now work across several sub-departments within the local authority.

The contract will see Waters develop marketing strategies, designs and developments for council community initiatives such as Ageing Well in Bridgend.

Some of the services Waters has previously provided to the council include the design and development of its print and digital marketing literature; event promotional materials; large-scale signage designs for council premises; and website development.

Rhian East, co-director of Waters, said: “It’s a huge achievement for Waters to work with Bridgend County Borough Council once again.

“We always enjoy working with the organisation, especially on projects that will help to raise awareness of its community initiatives and positive efforts to engage with the local community.

“Working on long-term projects like these allows Waters to obtain an in-depth perspective of the council’s aims, and will therefore enable us to communicate these objectives in the most effective way.”

In December, Waters secured a place on the BBC’s Digital Services Framework (DSF), which could see the company work on projects in areas including news, sport, children’s entertainment, radio, music and iPlayer.
