Design firm goes graphic with Gareth
DESIGN and marketing agency Thomas Design has strengthened its team by employing a senior graphic designer, complementing its already diverse and experienced staff base.
Senior graphic designer Gareth Emanuel was appointed due to increase in demand for Thomas Design’s services at the beginning of 2017. He has worked in the design and digital media industry for five years, since graduating in 2011 with a master’s degree in graphic communications.
Mr Emanuel has previously worked as an in-house designer and marketer before joining Thomas Design. His main role at Thomas Design is senior designer and front-end developer, working closely with clients to obtain a better understanding of their business needs and goals, ensuring the result meets specified targets.
He brings experience and skill at creating and developing new brand identities, exploring new marketing strategies and designing online adverts for clients.
Mr Emanuel said: “Thomas Design was a great career move for me, as I found working for a family-owned business meant decision-making was quicker, direction was sharper and feedback was instant.
“I love the fast turnaround on projects as it allows Damian, Thomas Design’s founder, to run a tight ship. This means we can always keep track of ongoing projects, be efficient with our time and monitor our calendar to fit in new work and help customers as quickly as possible.
“I also have the freedom to suggest new ideas and help push the business in ways that you rarely get the chance to with a larger company.”
The firm now intends to expand its team further by seeking an additional website developer.
