It’s a late kick-off for Evans on stag do

JONATHAN Evans will play for the Scarlets in the Guinness Pro12 final tonight... while his pals are in Budapest tearing it up on the scrum-half’s stag weekend.

The 24-year-old waved a group of mates onto a minibus at the start of their journey to the Hungarian capital, a scene his fiancée, Nia Hall, captured on camera and posted on social media.

He then switched his focus back to preparing for the Scarlets’ first-ever appearance in a Pro12 final.

They face Munster in Dublin, and the plan is for Evans to play the game and then catch up with his buddies.

“I think he will join them on Sunday,” said a Scarlets spokesman.
