Turn in the man who battered me senseless is mum’s Facebook plea

-

A WOMAN has shared pictures of her injuries after being subjected to a brutal attack – and has begged people to turn in the man responsible.

Jenna Louise Thomas, 22, from Newport, said she is lucky to be alive.

Police say they are now looking for Jamie Webber in connection with the attack.

Jenna wrote on Facebook: “Please, I beg anyone who sees him to ring the police.”

She wrote: “This is the result of what Jamie Webber has done to me for absolutely nothing. Please, I beg anyone who sees him to ring the police. I am too scared to leave a house, I need to take my son home. People have been searching everywhere for him, someone has got to know where he is.

“Please help and ring the police. I nearly died, luckily I didn’t. But I’m in fear and need help, my poor son needs to sleep in his own bed. We need to be safe and in order to feel that he needs to be locked up. So please if you see him ring the police or even message me.”

Her post has been shared thousands of times and police are involved. Gwent Police said: “Have you seen 27-year-old Jamie Webber? We’d like to speak to him following an assault that took place in Newport on Monday, May 29.

“It is believed Jamie is driving a silver Corsa and may now have left the Newport area.

“If you have any information on Jamie’s whereabouts please call 101.”
