Renishaw finance chief to speak at Breakfast Club
THE speaker at the next meeting of Cardiff Breakfast Club will be group finance director of Renishaw Allen Roberts.
Mr Roberts qualified as a chartered accountant in 1972 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Before joining Renishaw in 1979, he was employed for 11 years by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. He was appointed a director of Renishaw plc in 1980.
Mr Roberts heads group finance, business systems and Wotton Travel Ltd. He is also responsible for both metrology and healthcare regulatory and quality assurance functions, and human resources.
He reports to the board on corporate social responsibility matters.
Renishaw is one of the world’s leading engineering and scientific technology companies, with expertise in precision measurement and healthcare.
The company supplies products and services used in applications ranging from jet engine and wind turbine manufacture to dentistry and brain surgery.

Mr Roberts will speak at the Cardiff Breakfast Club on June 23 at 7.30am, at the SSE Swalec Stadium, Cardiff.
