Specialist attorney joins Wynne Jones IP

THE Cardiff-based intellectu­al property firm Wynne Jones IP has welcomed a specialist trade mark attorney to its team.

In joining the firm, Don Pennant brings with him private practice, inhouse legal knowledge and experience in advising large corporatio­ns and individual­s.

He also built a reputation for managing brand portfolios for worldrenow­ned companies including Aston Martin, Sainsburys and Imperial Chemical Industries.

Mr Pennant will also enhance the Cardiff-based firm’s offerings in clearance for use, prosecutio­n through to registrati­on, and handling contentiou­s issues.

His expertise and experience will be a “welcome addition” to the team, according to trade mark partners Victor Caddy and Gareth Jenkins.

Mr Jenkins said: “Don is a great addition to the Wynne-Jones trade marks team.

“He has built up a range of diverse experience across a number of areas, which we’re sure will be of significan­t benefit to our clients.

“He is a hugely talented trade mark attorney whose experience speaks for itself.”
