Tragedy is replicated all over the world

THE tower block disaster in London has left a community shocked. The sounds of children screaming has penetrated the memories of those at the scene.

This one day in London, hopefully to never happen again, has been happening for decades in Iraq, Syria and the Lavant, including the Holy Land.

Whether it is Benjamin Netanyahu’s bombing of Gaza; Vladimir Putin’s destruction of Aleppo, or multiple Western leader attacks on Iraq and Syria in general, scenes like that in London are happening around the world every day.

When people wonder why Syrians and other Arabs are risking their lives to cross the Mediterranean to seek sanctuary in residences like this, it is because their entire country is made up of buildings that look identical to this, after a London fire that has shocked so many. Coun Jonathan Bishop
