NOT only will Don’t Stop Us Now be an event packed with entertainment, but the gig has been organised by local youngsters down to the very last detail.

Featuring West End star Lee Mead, right, and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, winner of the 10th season of America’s Got Talent – Don’t Stop Us Now will also see a choir of a 1,000 young people aged eight to 23 from South Wales, accompanied by a full orchestra, who will also perform iconic songs made famous by rock legends.

The show has been in the planning since last October and the youngsters are from Hybu Pobl Ifanc which is a programme for 16-18 year olds to help them develop volunteering, leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

Gill James, managing director of Hybu, said: “The show is in part organised by Hybu Pobl Ifanc, an incredible group of young people that we work with.

“This event is not only a celebration of what young people can achieve, but is also a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Hybu charity.”

“It is an evening that will be full of fun and everyone is welcome.”

The concert is taking place for one night only at 7pm at Motorpoint Arena Cardiff on June 30. All money raised will go towards helping Hybu extend its work in disadvantaged areas in South Wales.
