BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (PG)

STRONG-WILLED bookworm Belle (Emma Watson) rebuffs the amorous advances of preening Gaston (Luke Evans) and soon after trades places with her inventor father Maurice (Kevin Kline) as eternal prisoner of an accursed Beast (Dan Stevens, pictured with Watson). The gloom is lifted by the kindness of enchanted servants, including tightly wound clock Cogsworth (Sir Ian McKellen), flirtatious candlestick Lumiere (Ewan McGregor), and teapot Mrs Potts (Emma Thompson), and slowly Belle sees more to like in her furry captor.

Available to stream from July 10 and on DVD from July 17

GET OUT (15)

GIFTED photographer Chris Washington (Daniel Kaluuya, pictured) is nervous about a road trip to meet the parents of his girlfriend Rose (Allison Williams). He is warmly welcomed by Dean Armitage (Bradley Whitford) and his wife, Missy (Catherine Keener) but Chris is unnerved by the passivity of the Armitages’ black groundkeeper Walter (Marcus Henderson) and maid Georgina (Betty Gabriel). Get Out is a razor-sharp satire, which skewers America’s racial tensions.

Available to stream from July 10 and on DVD from July 24.

WITHIN (15) JOHN ALEXANDER (Michael Vartan) and his wife Melanie (Nadine Velazquez) move into a new home with their truculent daughter, Hannah (Erin Moriarty, all pictured), who is less than thrilled about leaving behind her boyfriend Tommy (Blake Jenner).

John foolishly asks creepy locksmith, Ray Walsh (Ronnie Gene Blevins), to secure the new property. Soon after, Hannah senses that someone has been in her bedroom. Within is a hoary haunted house thriller that lacks scares, suspense or ingenuity over the course of 87 plodding minutes.

■ Available to stream from July 10 and on DVS from July 24.
