HMRC jobs needed outside Cardiff city

I SEE work has started on a proposed building for HMRC in Cardiff.

Why? Surely it would be more sensible to build outside the city?

Land would be less expensive. Travel for the staff would be easier.

As the new building is said to need an extra 1,000 staff, that could help solve the lack of employment in outside towns. And all at the expense of Westminste­r. LH Davies Caldicot, Monmouthsh­ire
