Networking event gives a boost to businesses

A WELSH business networking community is looking to help young entreprene­urs’ dreams come true.

Introbiz, with The Pitch 2017, sponsored by Cardiff council and in partnershi­p with Big Ideas Wales, is looking to help entreprene­urs aged 16-25. Only two categories can enter –start-ups in the early stages of growth and businesses with big potential that are ready to take it to the next level.

The event is being held at the Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff, on Thursday, September 21. Entreprene­urs aged 16-25 can attend a free confidence-building workshop with Stifyn Parry at the Introbiz Expo Pre-Biz from 10am, aimed at helping young people perfect their elevator pitch.

Applicants must give a twominute elevator pitch to the Introbiz team, with a chance to be shortliste­d to present their full five-minute pitch on the main stage at the Introbiz Expo 2017 at the Motorpoint on Thursday, November 2.

Judges include Hayley Parsons OBE, founder of gocompare.com, and Lyndon Wood, founder of constructa­quote.com

The winner will receive a trophy and a prize consisting of an Introbiz gold membership worth £1,899, monthly networking training by Tracey Smolinski, monthly social media and marketing training by Paul Smolinski, mentoring sessions by Ms Parsons and Mr Wood, a website created by Sunzu and many other benefits for their business.
