Celebration of spirited independence

IndyFest, Cardiff

CARDIFF’S first festival of independence will take place on Saturday, September 16 and aims to “invoke Wales’ rebellious spirit and celebrate diversity.”

A collaboration between Yes Caerdydd and Barefoot Rascals Day, #IndyFest will explore ways to increase independence as individuals, communities and as a country.

The festival is on Womanby Street – at The Moon and the Castle Emporium during the day, followed by a gig in Clwb Ifor Bach in the evening. Indyfest will explore the theme of independence through poetry, song, drama, workshops and talks, as well as comedy from Stand Up for Wales, headlined by Steffan Evans, with MC Sarah Breese.
