Former X Factor star Olly Murs will be performing in Singleton Park, Swansea, this August, and we’ve got everything you need to know ahead of the big day.

OLLY shot to fame in 2009 and has since recorded four multiplati­num albums and produced four chart-topping singles.

When is it, and what time does it start and finish?

The event will take place on Saturday, August 12. The gates open at 5pm, and the show is expected to finish at around 10.30pm.

Where is it?

The event takes place in The Lacrosse Field, Singleton Park, Mumbles Road, Swansea SA2 0AU

Who else is performing?

Olly will be supported by The X Factor winner Louisa Johnson.

Where will the box office be?

The box office will be at the entrance to Singleton Park off Mumbles Road, and will be open from midday on the day of the show.

Will there be seats?

No, it’s not a seated concert, and you are NOT permitted to bring camping furniture / deck chairs.

What about accessibil­ity?

The event takes place on grass; friendly stewards, accessible toilets plus a disability viewing area are available. The park is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. Accessible parking is available within the recreation ground but this is located on a gravel surface. There will be a wheelchair provision at the event, which will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. These must be pre-booked via Ticket line UK on 029 2023 0130.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The concert will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather, so make sure you take appropriat­e clothing along. In considerat­ion of other concert goers, umbrellas and gazebos are prohibited.

Is there a minimum age limit?

Under 14s must be accompanie­d by an adult, and no children under the age of four years old will be permitted entry.

Can I buy food and drink on site?

A range of catering, offering a variety of food and drink, will be available from the time the gates open.

Will there be toilets?

Yes, standard and accessible toilet facilities are located throughout the event arena.

What items are banned from the event?

Bags unless they are no larger than an A4 sheet of paper.

Anything that could be considered a weapon.

Any type of pyrotechni­cs such as fireworks, flares or sparklers.

Any form of audio or visual recording equipment. Umbrellas. Dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs). Fold-up furniture. Food and drink (that hasn’t been purchased at the premises, unless it’s for medical reasons).
