Joshua fight tickets selling out – and for up to £5,250

-

TICKETS for the upcoming Anthony Joshua fight are selling out fast – and for incredible amounts of money.

At the time of writing there were only four seats remaining in the VIP area, with some tickets selling for as much as £5,250.

Joshua will take on Kubrat Pulev on October 28 at the Principality Stadium for his World Heavyweight Championship

There have been delays on ticketing websites to bag a seat at one of the biggest fights ever held in the Welsh capital.

One of those eager to see Joshua is 29-year-old Laura James.

She got her tickets yesterday. She said: “I am a bit of a novice, really. My friend got me into boxing at the beginning of the year and this is my first live fight. I was going to go for the £200-floor ones but my friend told me to remember the budget, and went for the £100 tickets, one back.

“It could go either way but it is a big risk because it could end in the first round and it is a lot of money. I think Anthony Joshua will win, though.”

On Monday, Brit Joshua said: “What I’m hearing is that it’s going to be nuts! It’ll just be bouncing and there’s not a bad seat in the house, even though it can hold thousands. Everyone will be happy.”
