Robber with pole raids post office

A MASKED man armed with a pole assaulted a post office worker and stole more than £900.

Gwent Police are appealing for information following the robbery at 7.48am on Saturday at the post office in Crumlin Square, Crumlin.

Police said the man is described as white, around 25 and with olive skin.

He was wearing a long khaki coat, with a light-coloured motif on the upper left sleeve and fur around the hood, which was up. He was wearing sunglasses and a bandana covering the lower part of his face. He was carrying a light blue rucksack. Call 101.
