Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues at St David’s Hall, Cardiff
LEGENDARY frontman of The Moody Blues, Justin Hayward, is bringing his intricate guitar skills to Cardiff.
He returns to St David’s Hall to promote his ninth studio album, All the Way, on Monday, October, 2.
The show will include a live performance of new single, The Wind of Heaven, as well as a sprinkling of hits from his iconic Sixties band, The Moody Blues.
Some of their biggest hits include Nights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, Your Wildest Dreams and I’m Just a Singer.
After nearly 50 years in the music business, Justin can still captivate an audience like no other with one of the most recognisable voices in rock.
A year after embarking on a solo career in 1977. Justin attained a worldwide hit with the unforgettable Forever Autumn, which was used in Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War of the Worlds.
Not only would this global Top 10 hit become his signature song, but he also starred in the spectacular stage production for five years from 2005 to 2010.
With 55 million album sales to his name, Justin was presented with The Golden Note award in 2005 and deservedly won a prestigious Ivor Novello statue for Outstanding Achievement. Plus, The Moody Blues have their very own spot on the Rock Walk Hall of Fame at Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard.
