WALES’ brilliant supporters are being given the chance to vote for the Fans’ Player of the Year as World Cup fervour reaches a crescendo with the looming qualifiers against Georgia and Russia.

But who do you feel has been the number one standout performer over the past 12 months as Wales seek to follow their stunning Euro 2016 success by also qualifying for the World Cup? The prestigious honour, decided by the Welsh public, was won last time out by midfield star Joe Allen.

He is on the shortlist of five again this time around, joined by Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Ben Davies and Chris Gunter. They have each played key roles in the World Cup campaign which has thrilled us so much and go to the wire.

There is also a public vote for the Wales Women’s Fans Player of the Year. They got their own World Cup campaign off to a flier with a 1-0 win in Kazakhstan when the women brilliantly mirrored the men with their own pre-match team photograph.
