Barry Leisure Centre to host tomorrow’s Chris Dyer sale

-

THE excellent Barry Leisure Centre, in Greenwood Street, is hosting the next Chris Dyer toy and train sale tomorrow, (10.30am to 3pm) this is the first event of this type at this venue this year.

Collectors may rest assured that there is now also a further date booked for November of this year and already two dates have been secured at this venue for 2018.

Also, its sister event, the Cardiff toy and train sale, will be taking place at Penarth Leisure Centre on a threemonthly basis (with the next show on Saturday, October 7). Again, there is a total of four dates booked at this venue for next year.

These two Vale of Glamorgan shows compliment each other and both are very popular with traders and collectors.

There is also an added bonus each August when the special annual and much-loved show on the platforms of Barry Island Station takes place.

Barry is a great venue, being easy to reach and centrally located with a direct road link from the M4 at Junction 33 as well as good public transport. It has large amounts of free car parking – the Civic Centre next door offers all of it’s parking space free of charge for the Barry sales. There is almost unlimited free parking, in fact. Along with level and easy access, Barry Leisure Centre offers really excellent lighting and a very warm and friendly environment; a great cafe will also be operating within the show.

Organizer Chris Dyer said: “We attract a good range of traders who offer a massive variety of both toys and trains at very realistic prices.

“These traders are also keen to buy and to exchange and the public are urged to bring their surplus items along even if only for a free valuation”.
