Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff

NOEL Gallagher has announced a UK tour and the main man and his High Flying Birds will be stopping off in Wales for a show.

The former Oasis guitarist will be performing in Cardiff with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the band he formed after leaving the iconic Brit-pop outfit.

Taking place in April and May next year, the band will tour the UK and play at the Motorpoint Arena in the capital on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 29 at 9am and will start from £49.50 plus fees via ticketmast­er.co.uk.

News of the tour comes after the band announced their third album, Who Built the Moon, which goes on sale on November 24.

It can also be pre-ordered and those who do so before September 27 will get access to pre-sale tour tickets.

The new album, which can be bought on CD, vinyl and digital download, includes the tracks The Man Who Built The Moon, Fort Knox, Black & White Sunshine and If Love Is The Law, along with a bonus track Dead In The Water, performed live at RTÉ 2FM Studios in Dublin.

Noel recently played at the We Are Manchester reopening gig at Manchester Arena on September 9.

The UK tour also includes dates at the Brighton Centre, Nottingham Motorpoint Arena, the Birmingham Arena and the Manchester Arena.
