Fatality after crash on A48

A PERSON has died following a two-vehicle crash in Newport.

The A48 at Langstone was closed in both directions following the incident. A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said they were called at 4.10pm.

The crash happened between Caerlicken Lane in Langstone and Llanvair Road in Caerwent.
