Boy, 15, found dead at house
A TEENAGER was found dead at a house in Newport, an inquest has heard.
Thomas Rowe, 15, was pronounced dead after the emergency services attended a property in Farriers Gate, Bassaleg, on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination was carried out at the Royal Gwent Hospital, in Newport, which established the cause of death as asphyxia.
It is not believed there was any third-party involvement.
Senior coroner for Gwent David Bowen adjourned the inquest for two months to allow for police inquiries to conclude, and released the deceased’s body to his family for funeral arrangements.
