Having a night at the museum is fab
IT’S Museums At Night week – and what a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the great facilities on our doorstep for something other than browsing the brilliant exhibitions.
This weekend saw a pop-up cinema visit the National Museum of Wales, in the centre of Cardiff, and fans of Jurassic Park were in their element.
They were treated to a screening of the iconic 1993 movie, games, food and fun dino-related surprises throughout the evening. The opportunity to watch one of my all-time favourite movies in such an atmospheric setting was too good to pass up, and the accompanying entertainment really made the night something special.
First, as we entered the museum we right sort of grub for this sort of event and was delicious and filling. And the fun and games continued right up until the screening of the movie.
The little touches, like the Jeep and the props, really added to the fun feel of the night and the introduction of the film by one of the expert staff was hilarious.
The lighthearted debunking of the movie’s plotline made me laugh and was cool, but by no means spoiled the classic were greeted with the Jurassic Park Jeep for me. and some scary-looking dinosaur claws I am all for repurposing amazing to get you in the mood for a guided tour museums and spaces after dark, and around the Dinobabies exhibition. had so much fun I hope they make it a
