Plenty to try at Haberdasher’s activity morning
MONMOUTH School for Boys and Monmouth School for Girls are warmly inviting prospective pupils to experience first-hand some of the subjects and extra-curricular activities on offer.
The annual activity morning is a free event open to pupils currently in Year 6 and considering joining the schools in Year 7 in September 2018.
The relaxed and fun-filled morning on Saturday, November 18 will be a great way for pupils from a wide range of primary schools to meet one another and get a taste of life at the Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools.
The boys are able to try their hand at art, sport, design technology and witness the magic of chemistry before they tuck into a hearty lunch. While the boys are busy, parents can take advantage of a short presentation from the headmaster and pupils, and have a brief tour of the main school site.
The girls will get the chance to take part in a variety of exciting activities which, in the past, has included classics, dance, design and technology, geography, German, home economics, ICT, science and sport, before they too get to enjoy a lunch with their parents in the dining room at 12.30pm.
