Development manager and junior designer join firm
CARDIFF-BASED office design and fit-out company Paramount Interiors has made two new appointments to its design and sales teams.
Carl Gough joins the company as business development manager, having previously worked in a furniture sales position at another south Wales based office design and fit-out company.
Mr Gough started his career in retail sales for the Nicholls group of department stores in Crickhowell, Abergavenny and Brecon before moving into the industry.
He will be responsible for generating new business with a specific focus on increasing Paramount’s commercial furniture sales, and will report directly to the managing director.
Madison Osborne joins Paramount in the role of junior designer. An honours graduate in interior architecture from the University of the West of England, Ms Osborne has been working for an interior design practice since graduating in 2016.
She will work within Paramount’s specialist interior design team to produce innovative and effective office design concepts for the company’s clients with a particular focus on 3D visualisation.
This year Paramount announced record financial results, with 2016 being the most profitable in the company’s 27-year history following a series of large UK fit-out contract wins in London, Wales, South West and the Midlands.
The company is focused on driving further growth both within the Welsh market and in key strategic areas of the UK.

Established by Nigel and Bridget Roberts in April 1989, Paramount employs 37 staff at its headquarters on the Paramount Business Park in St Mellons.
The firm works with clients cross Wales and the UK ranging from SMEs to major national brands such as ITV, Go Compare, General Dynamics, Allianz and KPMG.
