EU treaties written to conceal intent

-

FROM Edward Heath’s Treaty of Accession of 1972, to the Reform or Lisbon Treaty 2008, politicians have misled us about the content of the EU’s six Constitutional Treaties.

■ A Dictatorship: Page 18 Article 9: Defines the Executive of the EU: Three unelected politburos (insert what they are) based on the soviet model.

■ The demise of UK Political Parties: Page 16 Article 8A-4: “Political parties at European level contribute to forming EU political awareness and to expressing the will of the EU. British parties express only the will of UK citizens not the will of the EU.

■ The EU is a Military Union: Page 39 10A-c-3 “Member States shall make civilian and military capabilities available to the Union for the implementation of the common security and defence policy.” The unelected EU politburos will ultimately control the nuclear weapons of Britain and France.

■ Petitions: Pages 17 8B-4: “Citizens of Member States may take the initiative of inviting the European Commission, within the framework of its powers, to submit any appropriate proposal on matters where citizens consider that a legal act of the Union is required for the purpose of implementing the Treaties. Whilst we may petition the EU, we are only allowed to ask for more laws thereby adding to the EU dictatorship.

■ The EU can force the Euro on us: Page 12, Article 2- 4. “The Union shall establish an economic and monetary union whose currency is the euro.” If the EU were to impose the Euro on the UK under this clause, the British Government, could in theory appeal. However, for decades the UK government has, without question, implemented all EU treaties, laws, and regulations.

■ We may not oppose the EU: Page 13, 3A-3: “The Member States shall facilitate the achievement of the Union’s tasks and refrain from any measure which could jeopardise the attainment of the Union’s objectives.”

Page 14. 3A-4. “Under the principle of proportionality, the content and form of EU action shall not exceed what is necessary to achieve the objectives of the Treaties. These clauses demolish our Sovereignty.

In summary, Britain was illegally abolished on January 1 2009.

The treaties are written to conceal their intent. For example, they “take Primacy” over our written British Constitution and laws. A nation cannot have two constitutions, so this means the EU’s constitutional treaties replace the British Constitution. These six treaties are enforced by EU judges, whose remit is to enforce them within the policy of “Ever Closer Union”. These clauses, and hundreds of similar ones in the 2,000 pages of the six treaties, overwhelmingly abolish British Sovereignty. Mike Bailey Cowbridge
