I could be bowing out – Coleman

-

CHRIS Coleman has accepted he could be leading Wales for the final time for tonight’s friendly clash with Panama – but insists he’s not dwelt on the emotions involved in a potential farewell.

Instead, the 47-year-old says his focus has been on what could prove to be his legacy as he looks for further development for exciting Welsh youngsters like Ben Woodburn and Ethan Amapadu.

Talks over a new deal for Coleman are set to resume after tonight’s clash, but there is no guarantee agreement will be reached despite having the overwhelming support of his squad to carry on in the role.

“That will be up to the powers that be, it won’t be my decision,” said Coleman.

“They know my stance and how I see things, how I want to work and who I want to work with. But they may not see it that way, and that’s okay. There will be no bad feeling.”
