Trio of high-calibre hires at Wales’ largest family law practice

-

WALES’ largest niche family law firm has continued to expand, with three more appointments at its Cardiffbased practice.

Wendy Hopkins Family Law Practice, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year, now has one of the largest teams of any specialist firm in the UK.

The firm has announced that Claire Binnersley has joined the thriving wills and probate department, Gabriella Evans has been appointed as a paralegal and Houston Mapstone has been appointed as a marketing executive.

Solicitor Ms Binnersley, from Caerleon, joins the practice from another prominent local law firm. Already experienced in elder law and wills cases, she will be working with associate Catrin Griffiths in the firm’s wills and probate department.

Ms Evans, from Usk, joins the firm as a full-time paralegal. A graduate of Cardiff University, where she obtained her law degree in 2014, she has worked in one of the largest solicitors’ firms in the UK, where she has been used to handling a high volume of cases.

Mr Mapstone, a graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University, joins as a marketing executive. He has previously worked within the legal sector and has a wide range of marketing and business development knowledge and experience.

He will play a key role in the further development of the practice.

Founding director Melanie Hamer said: “We are delighted to welcome Claire, Gabriella and Houston to the firm and to be able to take on such a high calibre of personnel.”
